Watford sack Spanish coach Cesco Muñoz

The English Premier League club, Watford, announced today, Sunday, the resignation of Spanish coach Cesco Muñoz from his position.

 Watford occupies 14th place among the 20 Premier League teams after the first 7 rounds of the season, with 7 points.

Watford published an official statement on its official website and account on Twitter, saying: "The Board of Directors considers that the team's recent performance clearly indicates a negative trend at a time when the situation of the team should improve significantly."

The statement continued: "Watford FC can confirm that Cesco Muñoz has left his position as coach of the club."
