Singapore prevents entry from Myanmar due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation there

The Singapore Ministry of Health has confirmed its intention not to allow entry or transit for long-term passport holders and short-term visitors with recent travel history to Myanmar; Because of the deteriorating epidemiological situation there.

The ministry indicated - according to Singapore's Channel News Asia Radio, today (Wednesday) - that this measure will enter into force from midnight tomorrow, Thursday, until further notice.

She added that with the development of the global situation and the emergence of new strains of the Corona virus, the ministry will continue to adjust border procedures to prevent the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the country.
