Brazilian Flamengo beat Argentina's Devsna in the Copa Libertadores

Brazil's Flamengo defeated Argentina's Divsna e Justecia by a clean goal, to put one foot in the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores soccer tournament.

The only goal of the match was scored by Michael (S21) at the start of Renato Gaucho's career as the new coach of Flamengo, the 2019 champion, after Rogerio Ceni left his technical leadership due to poor results in the local league.

The goal came through a shot by Michael from the edge of the area to hit goalkeeper Louis Onsen in the left corner.

Divna tried to find the equalizer and almost achieved it (42 s) after Rotondi scored the goal, but goalkeeper Alves blocked the dangerous attack.

Adonis Frias also tried to score the equalizer for the hosts in the second half with a long shot, but his ball went near the right post of the Brazilian goal.

The return match will be held on the 21st of this month in Rio de Janeiro or Brasilia, and the winner will play either Olympia of Paraguay and Internacional of Brazil.
