Al-Ahly quartet undergoes a Corona smear today in Tokyo before joining the Olympic team

The Quartet of Al-Ahly Olympic Club, "Mohamed El-Shennawy, Taher Mohamed Taher, Akram Tawfiq and Salah Mohsen", is undergoing a medical examination today in Tokyo to detect the Corona virus before attending the Olympic team camp led by Shawky in preparation for the Olympics.

The quartet underwent a transit in Germany on the way to Tokyo, where the quartet left Morocco yesterday afternoon on their way to Tokyo after beating the South African Kaiserchiefs in the final of the African Champions League.

The technical staff of the Egyptian Olympic team, led by Shawky Gharib, decided to continue relying on the 3_4_3 method in the Tokyo Olympics, the same way the team played in the African Nations Under-23 Championship, which crowned the Pharaohs with its title.

The Sapporo Dome Stadium will host the first match of the Egyptian Olympic team, led by Shawky Gharib, against Spain next Thursday, in the opening of the Pharaohs' journey in the Tokyo Olympics.

On Friday morning, the Egyptian Olympic team arrived in Tokyo after a 12-hour flight, on a private plane, in preparation for participating in the Tokyo Olympics 2021, which begins on July 22 with a match between Spain and Argentina on the 25th and Australia on the 28th.

Al-Ahly team won the African Champions League title for the tenth time in its history, at the expense of the South African Kaizer Chiefs, after winning the landslide three times without a response, in the meeting that brought the two teams together last Saturday in the final match of the continental championship version 2021, which was held at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca in Morocco .
