US Secretary of State: Immigrants were and will remain essential to America's success

Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State, emphasized that immigrants were and always will be essential to the success of the United States of America, noting that immigrants have enriched and added to American society.

"Immigrants enrich our community, immigrants have been and always will be essential to America's success," Blinken said in a tweet via his official Twitter account. "I am proud to say that we have many immigrants working here at the State Department."

In another context, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken emphasized that the best way to expand and increase opportunities, promote human rights and develop economies on the African continent, is to invest in its young leaders, pointing to the Young African Leaders Initiative, which has had a strong impact over the past decade.

The US Secretary of State said in tweets via his official Twitter account: “The African continent has a population of 1.3 billion people, with an average age of 19 years, and the best way to expand opportunities, grow economies, and advance human rights is to invest in its young leaders. We see the Young African Leaders Initiative staying true to that idea over the past decade.

"And I think that's why the Young African Leaders Initiative has had such a strong impact over the past decade. This group of leaders and alumni of its programs have always inspired me, and I wish you all success and productivity."
