The winning cards in the ranks of Al-Ahly and Zamalek before the summit of the Volleyball League

Fans watching volleyball are waiting for the expected confrontation between the Al-Ahly and Zamalek teams, which is scheduled for six in the evening today, at the Arab Contractors Hall, in the final of the Premier League competition for the local season 2020/21, which will decide the title holder.

Al-Ahly club has in its ranks two of the most prominent Arab and African volleyball stars, the duo Ahmed Salah and Abdullah Abdel Salam, who can make the difference in their ranks, and the red fans rely on them great hopes for them to achieve the title.

As for Zamalek, it has two stars with strong experiences in its ranks, namely Reda Heikal and playmaker Ahmed Fathi, as they have played for the white team for many years and aspire to reconcile the masses with the rest of their colleagues after losing the African title recently in Tunisia.

The volleyball team in Al-Ahly Club, led by its technical director, Mohamed Moselhi, enters a confrontation that decided the Premier League title against Zamalek, with complete ranks without suffering from any absences.
While the Zamalek team suffers from the absence of 3 players, most notably the Canadian professional Hunt, who left the team and left for his country, and the injured duo, Mohamed Eid Al-Moneim and Mohamed Al-Sisi.
The Zamalek volleyball team is at the top of the standings with 59 points, which is also owned by the Al-Ahly team, where Zamalek won 20 matches, and Al-Ahly in 19, so that the white team has the largest share of the number of wins.
The winner of this match will win the title, and it is worth noting that the first round match saw Al-Ahly win 3-0.
Both teams entered a closed camp on Monday evening, 48 hours before the summit meeting, amid full focus from both technical managers, Mohamed El-Laqany, coach of Zamalek, and Mohamed Moselhi, coach of Al-Ahly.
Zamalek managed to reach the same points as Al-Ahly by defeating Tala’a Al-Jabsh last Saturday in the postponed meeting between them, while Al-Ahly lost from the Al-Tala’i team before that, 3/2.
Ayman Ghazlan, a member of the Board of Directors of the temporary committee of the Volleyball Federation and the acting executive director of the federation, revealed that only 35 individuals from each club from Al-Ahly and Zamalek were identified to attend the league final summit meeting next Wednesday.
The summit meeting will be held in the Men’s Volleyball League without the presence of fans due to the application of precautionary measures, as it is allowed to attend the players’ families and members of the board of directors of both clubs only, in the hall of the Arab Contractors Club hosting the match.
