Algeria receives half a million doses of the Chinese Sinovac vaccine against Corona

Algeria has received 500 thousand doses of the Chinese Sinovac vaccine against the emerging corona virus.


Wahiba Hajouj, director general of pharmacy at the Algerian Ministry of Health, said in statements to her that Algeria will receive about 3 million more doses of it during the month of July.


She indicated that Algeria is waiting for other quantities of three vaccines, which are the Chinese, the Russian and AstraZenka, adding, "We will receive by the end of July 5.5 million doses in addition to another large quantity that will be received during the months of July, August and September so that the supply will continue on a regular basis until the desired goal is reached at the end of the current year." ".


She explained that Algeria is about to receive about 1.1 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, as part of the Kovacs initiative.
