Supplying 200 pumps to raise the efficiency of artesian wells to develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside


Engineer Mohamed Salah El-Din Abdel Ghaffar, head of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Assiut and the New Valley, announced the supply of 200 submersible water pumps for the water sector in Assiut Governorate, at a total cost of LE 32 million, to raise the efficiency of artesian wells at the company’s level and increase their production capacities.

 

Abdul Ghaffar said, in a press release, today, Friday, that the pump spent 30 l / s when raising 55.8 with the engine power of 40 hp, it was supplied from Helwan Diesel Engines Company, one of the National Authority for Military Production, to be used as part of the presidential initiative projects, Hayat. Karima, to develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside.

 

He added that 23 generators were supplied with different capacities between 325 kW. P. A, and 315 k. P. A, and 500 k. FA, as well as supplying electrical cables and sockets for the electrical generating units, at a total cost of 3.7 million pounds for the water sector in Assiut.

 

He explained that 56 submersible deep pumps were supplied for artesian well stations, 200 seamless connections of 6 inches in diameter, 4,500 meters of electrical cables, at a total cost of 12 million pounds, and 6 generators of 500 K capacity. P. A total cost of EGP 6.6 million from the Arab British Company for Dynamic Industries, for the New Valley sector.
