South Korea: The number of daily infections in Corona is moving in a downward trend

Acting South Korean Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki said today, Sunday, that the number of daily infections with the Coronavirus is moving in a decreasing trend, and the South Korean government decided not to extend the special preventive period.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the government has set the special preventive period for two weeks from April 26 until Sunday to limit the spread of Corona.
Hong called in a meeting in response to the virus to make every effort to bring the number of daily infections to less than 500 soon.
With regard to the effectiveness of the vaccine against Corona, he stressed that the number of injuries associated with hospitals and facilities caring for the elderly has decreased to less than 30 cases recently after vaccination with the AstraZeneca vaccine since the end of last February, and today only 4 injuries were recorded.
Today, the country reported 564 new cases of corona, which brings the total number of infections to 127,309 cases.
