Nepal is seeking the help of the army to build an isolation center after the number of cases in Corona exceeded 351 thousand cases


Local government authorities in western Nepal have used the army to build a 200-bed isolation center to deal with the increasing number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections.

 

The chief officer of the region, Khajendra Prasad Regal, told CNN today, Wednesday, that work began in Kailali district in Sodurbashim province bordering India, where the region witnessed the return of a large number of migrant workers to their homes from India, which suffers from a tremendous rise. According to data from Johns Hopkins University of America, Nepal recorded 7 thousand and 587 new cases of the emerging corona virus, bringing the total confirmed cases of the virus to 351 thousand and 5 cases.

 

Also, 55 new deaths due to infection with the virus were recorded in the country, bringing the total deaths to 3 thousand and 417 cases, while two million and 91 thousand and 511 doses of the Corona virus vaccine were distributed throughout Nepal.
