Financial Control extends the deadline for submitting financial statements to stock exchange companies for one month


Dr. Mohamed Omran, Chairman of the Financial Supervisory Authority, announced the approval of the Board of Directors of the Authority to extend the period for submitting the financial statements of companies for which securities or financial instruments are listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange and the entities subject to the Authority’s supervision and control for the financial period ending on March 31, 2021, to June 15, 2021.

 

According to a press release today, Thursday, the Authority’s president directed the publication of Resolution No. 67 of 2021 issued on May 6, 2021 regarding extending the deadline in the Egyptian events, and on the websites of both the Financial Supervisory Authority and the Egyptian Stock Exchange, and it shall come into force from the day following the date of its issuance. This is in line with the precautionary measures being applied in the Egyptian state and the need for facilitation for dealers in non-banking financial activities.

 

The Egyptian Stock Exchange Registration Committee decided to grant 7 companies an additional period to send the financial statements within 15 days from the date of the expiration of the deadline granted by the decision of the Registration Committee on 04/11/2021 and that the companies' position will be re-presented to the Registration Committee in the event of non-commitment to send the financial statements about The fiscal year ending 12/31/2020 at the end of the grace period granted to it in light of the provisions of Article 64 of the executive procedures for the rules for listing and delisting of securities, and they are Orascom Investment Holding, Al Wadi International Investment and Development, Golden Pyramids Plaza, Al Ahly Development and Investment, Nile City Investment Genial Tours, Juhayna Food Industries.
