Tunisia declares its full support to France in the fight against terrorism after the stabbing incident of a French policewoman

 Othman al-Jaranda, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad discussed with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to advance them in all fields.


This came during a phone call made by the Tunisian minister with his French counterpart, during which Othman Al-Jundi confirmed, during the call, Tunisia's condemnation of the terrorist operation that targeted a French policewoman in the city of Rambouillet, expressing Tunisia's support for France in these difficult circumstances.


He affirmed Tunisia's absolute rejection of all forms of extremism and extremism, whatever their names and under whatever motives, expressing readiness to continue cooperation between the two countries and within international organizations to confront this scourge.

For his part, the French Minister praised the strength of the friendship and cooperation between Tunisia and France, and the strategic nature they gain in various fields.


The French minister expressed his country's support for Tunisia in its endeavors to overcome the economic and social challenges it faces, stressing France's support for Tunisia in its negotiations with the International Monetary Fund and the various donor financial institutions to quickly overcome the economic difficulties it is going through.


During the call, the two ministers also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
