Saudi Arabia wins a seat on the United Nations Commission on Drugs and Crime and the Commission on Population and Development


The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia won a seat on the United Nations Commission on Drugs and Crime (CND) for the period 2022-2025, and the Commission on Population and Development.

The permanent representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Muallami, indicated, according to the Saudi Press Agency, the high position and international confidence that the Kingdom enjoys, and its record of successes at the global and international levels in various fields.

He stressed that the Kingdom, through its long experience and achievements in combating drugs and organized crime, will be an important support for the United Nations and the members of the committee in this field.
