France strengthens its security measures after the Paris incident

According to the BFMTV channel, the French Interior Minister, Gerald Darmanin, ordered to tighten security measures in police stations and gendarmerie offices across the country following an attack on a police officer in the town of Rambouillet near Paris.

French media reported that a policewoman was killed in an attack carried out by an unknown man armed with a knife at the entrance to a police station in the town of Rambouillet, near Paris. Radio Europe 1 reported that the police shot the attacker and security personnel at the scene managed to control him, without giving further details. .

French Interior Minister Darmanin confirmed via "Twitter" that a police officer "was a victim of a knife attack" in Ramboulet, adding that he was heading to the site of the accident.

The BFM television channel said the attacker was of Tunisian nationality, and there was no immediate information on the attacker's motives.
