Today, Friday, the Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment confirmed that the partial and comprehensive ban contributed to reducing the rates of new infections with the new Corona virus (Covid-19). However, the partial and comprehensive ban, in turn, contributed to reducing the rates of injuries that were expected to be more according to the expectations of public health experts in the Ministry of Health. She added that it is possible that we will witness a further increase in the event of non-compliance with the preventive measures set by the Ministry of Health, noting that Health teams from the Ministry of Health will carry out large campaigns to impose fines against all people who do not wear masks, and the shops or restaurants that do not adhere to health conditions and the decisions of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety .. There will be an evaluation of the developments of the epidemiological situation near the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.

Last Tuesday, the Iraqi government spokesman, Hassan Nazim, announced new decisions to prevent Corona virus, including the opening of markets, restaurants and cafes, according to health conditions, after March 22.

Nazem said - during a press conference, according to the Iraqi "Alsumaria News" channel - that "the government is facing the challenges of the epidemic and its threat to the citizens' economy, security and livelihood," stressing that the health personnel are making great efforts to reduce injuries and we fear their rise.

He added that the curfew will be from nine in the evening to five in the morning, and on Friday and Saturday, the ban will be comprehensive.
