US State Department: We have not taken any decisions regarding the status of our forces in Afghanistan

The US State Department said: "We are conducting careful and close consultations with our allies and members of Congress on Iran," according to media sources. The US State Department added: "We have not made any decisions regarding the status of our forces in Afghanistan, and we review the agreement that was reached with the Taliban."

Earlier, the nuclear agreement crisis between the United States of America and Iran entered a new phase, after the International Court of Justice unanimously rejected the American objections that it did not have jurisdiction to consider the dispute between the United States of America and Iran, at a time when Washington sought to reduce tension with Tehran.

The International Court of Justice said: "US sanctions on Iran violate Washington's obligations to the friendship agreement between the two countries in 1955," as the judges of the International Court of Justice of the United Nations decided today, Wednesday, to accept the hearing of a case brought by Iran against the United States requesting the lifting of sanctions imposed on Tehran.
